Went to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort last weekend (6 June until 8 June 2014). It was my first time there with family for short holiday. Got a free apartment unit from an old friend(member Uni). It was a nice 3 bedroom unit and fully air-conditioned. Just found out that there are many units available for rental either for a short or long term. Our unit was very nicely furnished with sofa, tv, dining table, kitchen and also extra mattress in case needed.
Apartment was just about 1 or 2 minutes drive to the Laketown Resort where all the happenings take place. There is a Water Park and an Eco Park and some other activity within the vicinity. The water Park was fantastic and full with people on that Saturday. So many water/pool entertainment and its a huge compound with which also include a wave pool and many type of slides for adult and also for kids.
Eco Park was quite interesting as well with few animals including alligator, bear, peacock, snakes and many more and we were lucky to catch a show which Parrots are shown playing many tricks with specialized toys. It was quite entertaining.
And not to forget our very friendly Haji Hassan who manages our arrival and departure. He manages about 15 to 20 units of accommodation unit ranging from bungalows, semi D and apartments.
We planned to depart for KL about noon on that Sunday, but sadly our car battery refuse to start the engine. Once again many thanks to Haji Hassan for being very helpful in looking for mechanic on a Sunday thats full with kenduri. We went back to the apartment, had lunch and waited for quite awhile until about 3.30pm and once the mechanic arrives, he confirm the battery need replacement.
So everything solved and we left Bukit Merah about 5pm. It was a great short and simple holiday and Bukit Merah got nice things to offer.
For those who are interested or are planning a trip to Bukit Merah, i m sharing Haji Hassan 019-447 1416 contact in case you looking for nice and affordable accommodation in Bukit Merah.
